This guide covers everything from creating an account to sending your first courier-ready order: connecting a Facebook page or Instagram account, adding products, configuring the AI bot, building keyword replies and flows, and turning on order collection.
Step 1 - Create your account
Sign-up connects a channel first, then takes your profile details, then verifies your email with a six digit code.
Open the sign-up page: Go to twingbot.com/sign-up. If a friend shared a referral link with you, open their link instead -- it looks like twingbot.com/sign-up?ref=THEIRCODE and it is the only way the referral reward can be attached to your account.
Connect your first channel: Sign-up begins with the channel step. Choose Facebook or Instagram, approve the Facebook login popup, and pick the page or Instagram account you want TwingBot to answer for. At least one channel must be connected before you can continue -- TwingBot is built around a live inbox, so an account with no channel would have nothing to automate.
Fill in your profile: Enter your name, email address and a password, then accept the terms. If you signed in through Facebook, your name and email are filled in automatically and you only confirm them.
Verify your email with the 6-digit code: TwingBot emails you a six digit verification code. Type it into the boxes on screen. This confirms the address is yours and protects the account from being created with somebody else's email.
Land in the dashboard and claim the welcome offer: Your workspace opens immediately. New accounts can claim the welcome offer -- 7 days of free subscription plus 100 free credits -- so you can test AI replies, order capture and courier workflow before paying anything.
Step 2 - Set up your page
Connecting the page is only the beginning; the setup that decides reply quality is your product data and bot rules.
Connect the page in Channels: Open Channels in the dashboard and connect your Facebook page, Instagram professional account or WhatsApp channel. TwingBot asks Facebook for the permissions it needs to read and reply to messages and comments on that page. You can connect more than one page to the same workspace.
Activate the page: A connected page stays inactive until you switch it on. Activation is what tells TwingBot to start receiving that page's messages and comments through the Meta webhook, so nothing happens behind your back before you are ready.
Add your products with price, stock and photos: Open Products and add what you sell -- name, price, current stock, description and images. This matters more than any other setting: TwingBot answers price, availability and stock questions by reading this list, not by guessing. A product missing from here is a product the AI cannot sell.
Set up the AI bot persona and rules: In AI Bot, set the tone you want the bot to use, your shop rules, delivery charges, payment methods and anything the AI should never say. The AI replies in whichever language the customer writes in, so you do not configure languages one by one.
Add keyword replies and flows for common questions: Use Keyword Reply for fixed answers such as delivery charge or shop address, and the drag-and-drop Flow Builder for button journeys. These answer instantly without spending AI credits, so your everyday automation cost stays low and the AI is saved for real questions.
Turn on order collection and courier settings: Enable order capture so the bot collects product, quantity, name, phone and delivery address inside the chat and calculates the COD total with delivery charge. Configure your courier settings, and verified orders can be prepared for pickup instead of being retyped by hand.
Test it yourself before going live: Message your own page as a customer would. Ask a price question, send a product photo, place a test order. Check the reply in the unified Inbox and the order in Orders. Adjust the persona or product data, then let real customers in.
Step 3 - Keep AI cost under control
Answer your most repeated questions -- delivery charge, shop address, payment method, return policy -- with keyword replies and flows. These reply instantly and spend no credits. Let the AI handle the rest: product questions, photos, voice messages and anything written in an unexpected language.
Step 4 - Orders and courier
With order collection enabled, a confirmed conversation produces a complete order: product, quantity, customer name, phone, delivery address and the COD total including delivery charge. Incomplete or suspicious orders are flagged before courier submission, and verified orders are prepared for pickup.
Step 5 - Watch and adjust
Use the unified Inbox to read what the bot actually said, Orders to check captured orders, and Credits History to see where credits were spent. If a reply is wrong, the fix is almost always in Products (missing or outdated item) or in the AI Bot rules (missing shop policy).
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect a Facebook page to TwingBot?
Open Channels in the dashboard, choose Facebook, approve the login popup and select your page. Then activate the page so TwingBot starts receiving its messages and comments. You can connect several pages to one workspace.
Why is the bot not replying to my page?
The most common reason is that the connected page has not been activated. A connected page stays inactive until you switch it on, so nothing is automated before you are ready. Check the page status in Channels first.
How does TwingBot know my product prices?
From the Products list you add in the dashboard -- name, price, stock, description and images. Price, availability and stock answers are read from that list before a reply is sent, so the AI cannot invent them. A product missing from Products is a product the bot cannot sell.
